Seals are adapted to their environment because they have thick fur to keep warm. They use claws to groom their fur and cool down. The whiskers help them catch fish by feeling for them, the body is streamlined for swimming and flippers to propel them in the water. Seals eat crabs, Squid but mostly fish.

Thank you for welcoming me to your school blog.
I hope you have a great holiday!
Mrs, Tatham I hope you are enjoying your holidays I looked on those websites you suggested on my parents evening and I’m studding really hard. I just wanted to say it would be nice to have a page on the blog about things you have learnt, the reason I want to tell you this is because when I’m studding I have loads of information that other pupils might find useful and some interesting facts.
Thankyou
See you after the holidays!
Fantastic news Hafsah. What a brilliant idea. Maybe you could suggest that to our Year 6 team.
Mrs Tatham, could you please tell me the BLN address so I could log on to education city for my homework.
Thankyou
Hafsah,
It should be in the back of your homework book just inside the front cover.
I am looking forward to going London!
I looked at the Bankfoot blog and it’s really good.
Hello Everyone!
While walking in the local area over the past few days I have noticed an increasing large amount of litter on the streets of our area. The majority of the litter is created from the Manchester Road takeaway shops. I don’t think there are enough bins in the area for the amount of food sold from so many shops.
I recently went to a Trident community meeting where I was told they had some funding to clean the area up. I have seen some of this in action but not a lot just a few litter pickers which isn’t enough.
I wondered if the School Council or Newspaper Club could help solve the problem. Here are some things to think about…
Who is responsible and how can they help?
How could you get the local businesses involved?
Could we work with Trident as a team?
More importantly what can you and your family and friends do to help?
I hope you can help me with my concerns and I will look forward to hearing from you!
Thank you
Miss Pemberton
