Jungle Survival

Mr Wallis asked the class this morning what equipment they would choose if they were stranded in the jungle.

The choices were:
Tin foil,
Rope
A lantern
Chocolate
A PSP
Blanket

If you could choose 3 what would you choose? Why?

I would choose a blanket, lantern and some rope. I have chosen these things because it would help me when I am in the jungle. I chose the blanket because then I keep warm in the night. I chose the rope so then I can build my own boat to go back home. I would choose a lantern so then I can see any creepy crawlies and I can get out of the way and not get stung or bitten. Kyra

I would choose the PSP,foil and a blanket.I would choose the PSP because I would break it and make something that connect to the satellite so NASA ,so that they could rescue me.Also I would choose the foil so that I could shine it up in the sky. Finally I would choose the blanket because it would be freezing at night in the jungle of the Nile.Nana

I would choose a GPS device so I could coordinate my next direction.
Secondly I would choose a huge, soft blanket to keep me warm and protect me alittle from thoses scary, creepy crawlies.
Finally I would make sure I had a large bottle of water, to stop me from dehydrating.

Class 6 now know how to survive if lost in a jungle and they are feeling thirsty. For the record, the ‘urine’ was a water, salt and food colouring mixture (honest). The principle is the same though.
