Class 5 had fun yet an informative afternoon, learning about what to do in the event of a fire as well as how to keep safe in a car and prevent injury. Miss Bain elegantly modelled how fire fighters keep safe when coming to our rescue.

The largest number You need a calculator for this puzzle. Using the numbers 2, 4, 6 and 8, the multiply sign, the add sign and the equals sign, what is the largest number you can make? You may only press each digit and sign once, but you don’t have to press all the signs.

Our very own Fagley Museum was created last week. All the teachers and pupils worked incredibly hard to get everything ready in time and by Monday lunchtime the museum was looking spectacular.
