Reception and year 1 are all very sad to be saying goodbye to Miss Sugden as she leaves to start her maternity leave but we hope she will be back with us before too long. To reward everyone’s hard work this term and help us say goodbye in style we spent a lovely sunny afternoon in St Ives woods and park. We are very lucky to have this wonderful area so close to our school.
We walked through the woods on the way and came across some unusual sculptures. We also looked for signs of spring. We saw buttercups, lots of bulbs, catkins and lots of birds looking for nesting materials.
When we got to the park we enjoyed exploring all the equipment and some of the adults even had a go (just to check it was safe!)
