Once again we were lucky enough to have a real-life author visit us in school today. Eamonn Reilly did a fabulous assembly and read us snippets from some of his books.
I loved the one about the girl who took her brother to the rec, then went into the woods after her dog, leaving her brother alone. I wonder how that might end?
Which was your favourite?
Don’t forget if you want a signed copy Eamonn has kindly offered to come back to school for a book signing tomorrow!
To find out more why not visit his web site?

How lucky you are to have such an inspirational visitor. I hope you can ‘borrow’ some of his ideas to improve your own writing, I’m sure you can.

Hi
I thought that Eamonn Reilly was brilliant and I thought that all his books were brilliant as well. I especially liked Tall Tales and I hear that it has been very popular since Eamonn told us about it. I also thought that having him in also inspired us to become an author as well.

It was brilliant when E.R.Reilly came to school. I got ‘The real boy wizard’ book and I am half way through it. I like it alot.
I quite liked the sound of that one Tom. Can I borrow it when you’ve finished?
Mrs Ward
I read ‘Tall tales’ with my Mummy and Daddy and I loved it.
My favorite one was Tall Tales.
