What an exciting time we had on Monday. Mrs Wilkinson’s grandson, Jake came to visit Reception class. Ever since Miss Sugden had Isla two weeks ago everyone has been baby mad! We’ve seen each other’s baby photos, swapped tales of the naughty things we got up to as toddlers and now we’ve had a real baby come in and be measured and weighed in baby clinic!
Fortunately Mrs Parker used to be a health worker so she volunteered to show us how to do it! We learned how to weigh a baby, check its creases, how to measure its length and how record everything in the red book.

Next day was very busy at Harden Baby Clinic. Lots of children brought in their babies to weigh and measure! Have you got a baby at home? Could you measure its length or fins out how much it weighs? Tell us about when you were a baby…did you ever do anything naughty?

I loved it when the baby came. He was gorgeous and so cute. I like taking my baby into school. Today year one did an assembly on their trip to the castle. the toilet looked really funny. My brother Ben is in a school trip I mis him. Hemissed the pictures of the toilet. I was lucky I went to the garage Ben couldn’t go because he isn’t in reception.
