Cricketers Triumph – Again!

Good luck in the next round!

In glorious cricket weather yesterday the KS2 Primary Cricket finals for the Oakbank Schools Sports Partnership were held at Keighley Cricket Club. Once again the standard of the cricket and the sportsmanship displayed by all competitors was a credit to all concerned. Special mention goes to Oakbank’s fantastic (sun burned!) leaders who umpired and scored the matches throughout the afternoon so well. The results of the group matches produced a brilliant final between Harden and St Stephens. Congratulations go to Harden who were the overall winners and they go through to represent the Oakbank Partnership in the Bradford finals at Undercliffe CC on Thurs 21 June 2pm. Results :

Group 1

1st Harden 6pts
2nd Victoria 4pts
3rd Oakworth 3pts

Group 2

1st St Stephens 6pts
2nd Nessfield 4pts
3rd Holycroft 3pts

Final Harden 266 runs St Stephens 232 runs
Well done to everyone involved!!

Well done all you cricketers on tuesday when I was in mexico all I was thinking about is how well you were doing and when I got back and chris, a member of year 6, came up to me and told me you had won and you were through to the bradford finals.I was so happy but……. then I realised we were at robin wood when the next tournament was on so that really put me down but keep training and you’ll get even better well done guys!

It was quite hard but we all played well and came first. We all played 2 games and came first so we all played a extra game and we won. maya was the team captain i think that she was the best team captain ever. Scott had a fit when he got out he was really disappointed
