Some exciting news here for the pupils and staff at Harden Primary School! Four of the children in year 3 have decided that they would like to set up a school newspaper. This means we need stories and interesting news to put into the newspaper!

Fantastic boys! Perhaps you can help out year 1 and reception with some stories we are setting up a TV news studio in our classroom. It would be good to work together.

Their is the halloween disco coming up ,maybe u could advertise that!!
We are slowly starting the first copy!
You could always tell about all the new things that are happening in our school. The Ravenclaw team winning the half term team point count.
Thats a good idea!
You could also write about the things that are going to happen, like the Christmas fair.
Maybe you could put a Sports page where we can report on school sports such as the swimming gala, football, netball and cross country etc. They could gather information and pictures about the previous events: the highlights and up and coming events e.g athletics day and the swimming gala 2013. How about interviewing the teachers/organisers to get their comments on the sport.
Why don’t we have a competition for the best name for the newspaper or a ballad box in the hall for the next week, where people can put their suggested name in a box and the boys can choose their favorite.
