Noodle doodle time!

Oodles of noodles arrived in Reception this morning with a challenge to see who could use chopsticks to eat them. We persevered when using chopsticks and didn’t give up, even when the noodles kept sliding off. We were rewarded with a tasty treat!

Can you use chopsticks? Would you have the patience to persevere?

In the holidays I went to Japan with Mrs Harrison and we tried to use chopsticks. I was not very good, and needed to use my persevering learning muscle more. But I have to admit, I did use my fork and fingers a bit as well.

What a FAB challenge! I love using chopsticks but I find it very difficult. I wonder if they would work with soup?

It was great fun. The children really took on the challenge :) Some got so good, they had bowls full! Our collaboration task today was fun too…

I do like eating with chopsticks, although I must admit that after a while I do get rather impatient and I tend to go back to shovelling food into my mouth with a fork! It looks like you had great fun and you seem rather better at it and much more patient than me!
