Well done to all the children who entered Week 25 of the 100 Word Challenge, we had over 30 entries once again. There were some great pieces of writing, including our Miriam Lord Gems who will be announced on our 100 Word Challenge blog later today.

As it is the Easter holidays, Mrs Skinner has been thinking about chocolate, Spring and rabbits! The prompt is

Once upon a time there was a girl named Xena and she was a part of the royal family, during Easter her mother would always give her a chocolate bunny and she could only eat parts of it once a day. Xena always started with the ears because they were the chunky parts. One day Xena met her best friend Betsy and Xena said” you look weak and hungry do you want to join the royal breakfast?” Betsy fell to the ground and didn’t move Xena cried” EMERGENCY EMERGENCY HELP HELP MY FRIEND HAS FAINTED AND I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO!” Xena’s mother came running out of the palace and exclaimed” Xena, what did you do? lets get her inside for the royal treatment”
