100 Word Challenge – Week 33

The 100 Word Challenge at Miriam Lord continues to grow from strength to strength. Thank-you to all those children who take part, I really enjoy reading your work and feel genuinely proud when I link it to the 100 Word Challenge blog.

The prompt for Week 33 lasts for the half term holiday! You can find it on the separate blog for all of our 100 Word Challenge efforts. To enter the 100 Word Challenge click on “100 Word Challenge” in the “Our Classes” menu on the right hand side of the blog.

The prompt this week is a little different. You are going to read about the life of two people in Niger, in Africa, which is not a happy place to be at the moment. There is a huge crisis with people not having enough food or water. Their stories, which you need to read before writing, are on our 100 Word Challenge blog http://bradfordschools.net/blog/miriamlord100wc/

The task is to write a letter to either Fatimata or Roukayatou. You can tell them about your life or let them know how you feel about their story. The only restriction is that you must only use 100 words.

When you have written your story (and counted the words), add it to the 100 Word Challenge blog as a post with your first name and class, not as a comment.

Please do not write your entry on this blog.

The prompt is open until the 12th of June.

We will then link it to the 100 Word Challenge blog. Click on this link to read and comment on other entries from our school http://bradfordschools.net/blog/miriamlord100wc/ or this link to read and comment on entries from around the world http://100wc.net/

Good luck!
