Good Work 30th March

Here is a selection of work from the last assembly of the spring term.

Ellis made an excellent effort to improve the quality of his sentence construction and there is a superb improvement in his writing as a result.

Dylan has mastered ordering numbers up to 20.

Jasmine used her ICT skills to create a newspaper front page to tell part of the Easter Story.

Erin worked really hard during a Literacy week on the Easter Story, she used lots of different styles of writing.  This is her newspaper report.

Hasan brought his observational sketch of a tree.

Thomas had impressed his teachers with his understanding of numbers.

Nathan, Ellie, Danielle and Joshua recieved certificates for their efforts in The Real Maths Challenge Final.  They had a series of tasks to complete based around the mathematics of an Easter eggs at Challenge High School, Bradford.  They did not win on this occasion but did Nessfield proud with their carefully reasoned arguments.

Olivia, Ellie-Mae, Ellie, Charlotte, Faye, Summer, Freya, Claire Katie and Caitlin also recieved certificates for their participation in a Netball High 5 League.  The Nessfield team finished in a creditable 4th place.  If any readers would like to join the school Netball club it takes place on Monday evenings.  The club is now working towards a tournament to be held in June.  Contact Mrs. Long if you are interested.
