Year 4′s Maths homework was to count the total number of rectangles and triangles they could make in the pictures above. They found it very interesting and wanted to share it with the rest of the school to see what answers everyone could come up with!

Thackray medical museum
Year 4 are very excited to be visiting the Thackray medical museum tomorrow. We have been thinking a lot about the human body in our new topic. What are year 4 most looking forward to? What are you hoping to find out at the museum? If you have been, what did you learn during your visit?
Year 2′s “Sleepover”
Year 2 are learning all about what happens at night time. We decided to have our own mini sleepover. We learnt about what happens to our body’s at night, we shared bed time stories and we even had hot chocolate and marshmallows!

Year 2′s Visit to Nell Bank
Year 2 have enjoyed a very wet and muddy day at Nell Bank. They all really enjoyed themselves and learnt lots about the habitats of different animals and all about nocturnal animals.
They took part in a range of activities. In the morning they looked at what it was like to be: a rabbit, a mole, a mouse, a badger and a squirrel. In the afternoon they learnt about what they would find in the pond and took part in pond dipping, they explored the water play area and even took part in a Habitat Hunt!
I’m sure if you look at the pictures you will agree that they look like they really enjoyed themselves.
