I’m loving the Puzzle of the Week idea. Although I won’t solve this one because (a) it would spoil it, and (b) I don’t know the answer.

i thinck that you can make it by puting two 7 one upside down and one right side up do the same again put the 1 infront of both of the 0 and there 100!

That’s a very creative way of making 100 Muneebah, using the numbers to create 100. Can you make it any other ways? Using some mathematical operations?

Is this a trick question because i did 7 times 7 which is 49 then i did 7 times 7 again which is 49. when i did 49+49 i got 98 then i added 1 which is 99. But if i write 177-77 then thats 100 so i think i have got it right. Hamzah 4LH

      Hamzah,

It isn’t a trick question, but well done on finding ONE of the ways you could make 100. Can you use the numbers to find any more?

    7,7,7,7,1

If I have 177 then I take away 77 I will get the number 100

      Hamza,
I really like your post as you have explained what you have done and addressed who it is to and it is correctly punctuated!

I also like it as you have made 100 – can you make it in any other ways?

      Miss Lawton

  10. The answer is[ 7+7] times [7+[1/7]= 100

It’s nice to see some of you have found ways to make 100. Needless to say, there is more than one way to do it.

If you have found one way to make 100 – see how many other ways you can do it!

If you haven’t – keep trying and look at the other comments for ideas.

    Miss Lawton

  12. 7+7] times [7+[1/7]= 100

    7 times 7 = 49
    7times 7 = 49 + = 100

    I will try miss lawton.
    1+( (7/7) x (7×7) )
    1+ ((1) x (49)
    so 1+1 =2
    and 1+49=50
    so 2×50=100

    An other way to make100
