Year 3 are busy writing instructions in their Literacy. Please send us some instructions so that we can improve ours. We want instructions for making sandwiches, cleaning teeth and making toast, as well as any others that you think can help us. We are hoping to get lots of help.

Welcome back to a new and exciting year ahead. Next Friday will be the 14th of September. If we break up for half term on the 24th of October. How many days will we have in school between those dates? Remember to only work out how many school days we will be in school.

Last weekend I made the long journey down to Hackney in London to see Radio 1′s Big Weekend. There were hundreds of fantastic artists there and I enjoyed the sunshine and danced all weekend long. The weekend had over 100,000 people there and here are just a few snaps of the crowds I saw. [...]

Can you work out how many of each red nose Coco the clown bought? I spent £2 on 20p and 10p red noses. I bought three times as many 10p red noses as 20p red noses. How many of each red nose did I buy?
