Overview

Demonstrate an understanding of how to collect, import, organise and manage images effectively using appropriate strategies and tools to support teaching and learning.

Demonstration and modelling.

Look at how to access, update and search the Gallery and discuss the various types of content. Demonstrate how to add images from the Internet and other applications in to a Notebook file. Model how to make backgrounds transparent and crop images including the use of the free hand tool. Demonstrate how to collect images including animated gifs from the Internet and store them in your 'My Content' gallery area. Understand how to organise the 'My Content' area including saving all objects, pages and notebook files. Discuss and demonstrate various reveal techniques to use with images including the use of the spotlight tool. Model how to export collections.

Teacher task

Gather some resources including images, animated gifs, background images and text and store them in a folder in your 'My Content area'.
Create a simple resource of your choice using some of these resources and some reveal techniques (2 to 4 pages in size) and save this in to the same folder in your 'My Content' Remember to include a page of instructions including objectives / learning intention.
Export this folder from your 'My Content' area and send it to me as an attachment.
