Mark Chambers - Curriculum
ICT
Strategy Manager
Mark has been a teacher, an LA Teacher Advisor, a deputy and head teacher and an ICT Consultant working cross phase. Recently, in his role as ICT Strategy Manager at Education Bradford, he has been heavily involved in BSF Programmes. Mark has overall responsibility for the Curriculum ICT team and the Bradford Learning Network. Mark is an accredited consultant leader delivering Leadership Programmes for the NCSL. He is currently the senior vice-chair on the NAACE board of management. NAACE is the national professional association for those who are concerned with advancing education through the use of information and communications technology (ICT).

Paul Scott – Lead Teaching and Learning Consultant (ICT).
Paul is presently in his 5th year working for Education Bradford as an Teaching and Learning consultant (ICT). He has over 18 years of Primary school teaching experience both in the UK and abroad. His main role involves developing, implementing and embedding whole school improvement strategies using ICT including working with schools involved with the Primary Capital Programme and supporting schools with E-safety. Paul is a qualified
CEOP
Ambassador trainer an accredited ICT Mark assessor and specialises in the use of Smart Interactive Whiteboards. He organises the highly popular Cars – Maths in Motion Challenge, the Annual Film & Animation Competition and recently worked on the new ICT Scheme of Work.

James Langley - Primary Teaching and Learning Consultant (ICT)
James joined the Curriculum ICT team on a permanent contract in September 2008 after being on part time secondment with the team for 2 years. Prior to this he gained 11 years experience as a Primary school teacher, 5 of those as an AST specialising in ICT. James is trained in the use of Espresso and is accredited in the use of the ACTIVInspire software for Promethean boards and he is also a qualified ICT Mark Assessor. James is heavily involved in the development of bMobLe (Bradford Mobile Learning Network) and the use of mobile devices in the primary classroom and beyond. He has recently been accredited with Forest School training - Level 1.

Vicki Cox - Accelerating Achievement & New Technologies Consultant
Vicki is on secondment from Bankfoot Primary. She has been teaching for 6 years and has had responsiblity for ECM and ICT. In her role she has successfully supported and contributed to her school gaining the ICT Mark. She has been involved in the BMoble roadshow and has gained the advanced smartboard training certificate. Vicki can offer support using a variety of new technologies to enhance and engage learning within the curriculum.

Steve Dale – Secondary Teaching and Learning Consultant (ICT) and E-Learning Consultant
Steve originally started out as a forensic toxicologist but after a chance encounter with a computer in 1982 decided to become an ICT trainer, teaching those teachers in schools who were slowly embracing the new technology. Steve has since worked in 3 local authorities and in over 450 schools developing a wealth of experience and knowledge. He is fondly known as ‘Mr Moodle’ due to the amount of development time he spends on ways to integrate VLE’s into the classroom and he is also an expert at Databases and electronic music. Steve is also a registered Ofsted inspector.

Robert Bashforth – Secondary Teaching and Learning Consultant (ICT)
Robert joins us from private industry where he worked in a national capacity as a strategic ICT Consultant for the Building Schools for the Future program. Previous to this he worked as a Teaching and Learning Manager for ICT in a Secondary School and before that as a HOD ICT. He has a passion for the use of educational ICT in 21st century learning and teaching environments. He is keen to apply his knowledge to the task of transforming and enhancing all aspects of the curriculum through the use of innovative ICT

Sarah Hawkins - Curriculum ICT team co-ordinator
Sarah joined the team in April 2010 as the administration support for Curriculum ICT. Prior to this she performed an administrative role in a local primary school. Sarah is responsible for coordinating day to day communications and supporting the team with the organisation of our many ICT events

Jo Dean - Bradford Learning Network Project Manager
Jo Dean joined Education Bradford in working as a temp on the
EB
ICT Helpdesk in 2000. Prior to this she worked at Ntl: Telewest before taking a year out to go travelling. Jo moved to the role as the Bradford Broadband administrator in 2002 and has made her way up to become the Bradford Learning Network Project Coordinator.

Alyas Haider – Bradford Learning Network Technical Officer.
Alyas Haider joined the team in October 2007 as the Bradford Learning Network Technical Officer. Alyas has many years experience working in the technical field of ICT, most of this time spent in the educational arena. Alyas’ main role is to over see the technical developments of the
BLN
infrastructure and he has been heavily involved in the network refresh and the implementation of the Ja.Net connection. Alyas works closely with schools and 3rd party support providers to provide consultancy on utilising the BLN.

Tina Housley Bradford Learning Network Customer Support
Tina joined the team in September 2007 as the administration support for Curriculum ICT. Prior to this she worked as a helpdesk coordinator at the Minerva Centre for 5 years. Tina recently covered the role of the BLN project support officer while Jo Dean was on maternity leave and is now in a new role as a customer support officer, supporting schools with the use of their BLN resources including the new Learning Portal.
