It is expected that all attendees will be familiar with the basic use of a windows operating system and have knowledge of the Primary Literacy Framework

Course details

This course is to demonstrate the effective use of ICT in Literacy. The course content will be based on the ‘ICT applications in Literacy' grid (http://nationalstrategies.standards.dcsf.gov.uk/node/102715)

and the ‘Talk for Writing' publication (http://nationalstrategies.standards.dcsf.gov.uk/search/primary/results/nav:49808).

Teachers will learn how to use ICT resources that their schools will already have freely available to them to enhance their literacy lessons.
