A notification of change of service was sent by Primary Technology to all schools regarding their remote access service.
Within that notification it stated that the Bradford Learning Network had experienced delays in delivering a remote access service. This statement is incorrect.
The Bradford Learning Network has no plans to directly offer a remote access solution to schools. However, we are in talks with Yorkshire and Humber Grid for Learning to see if Bradford can make use of a solution they are currently testing with other Local Authorities. If this service becomes available we will let you know how you can access it.
One exciting development we are working on is the Learning Portal which will give you access to many teaching and learning resources from a single interface. This was pre-launched at the road show on the 22 January 2010 and we are working with a small number of schools to test what is already in place and to work on the final solution.
