Course details

This course is particularly relevant to new and existing subject managers who require guidance on managing their subject. The ICT subject manager's role is a vast and ever changing one which can seem quite daunting to even the most experienced subject manager. The two day course will enable you to get a clear vision of how to take your school forward and provide ICT opportunities for children in the 21st century and use ICT to support whole school improvement. The course content is based on Becta's online self-review framework for ICT which provides a framework for whole school improvement using ICT including leadership and management, curriculum, learning and teaching, professional development, extended learning, resources and impact on pupil outcomes. The course will also give practical advice on how to use Education Bradford's ICT scheme of work.
