ICT experience / knowledge:
It is expected that all attendees will be familiar with the basic use of a windows operating system and use of the internet and be aware of the Becta expectation that all secondary schools will have online reporting in place by September 2010 and primary schools by September 2012.
It is now widely understood that the quality of the ‘school-gate’ relationship with parents can be enhanced with ICT and online reporting. This course will provide an opportunity for delegates to understand how to provide the minimum requirement for online reporting, but more importantly, how to move beyond it. The course will help delegates to implement a variety of ICT systems wisely, avoiding technical incompatibility issues and improve communication inside and outside the school whilst reducing teacher workload. We will also show examples of best practice and demonstrate how this initiative has been successfully implemented by School Leaders
